Simple Licensing Agreement

This agreement applies to our royalty free music collections. By purchasing music from jaapi.media, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Ownership & Licensing:
    All music belongs to Jaapi Media. Your purchase grants a non-exclusive license to use the music, worldwide and royalty free. This license is non transferable, and no additional payments can be demanded.
  2. Attribution:
    Please credit the music with the artist's name, track title, and include "Licensed by Jaapi Media” where possible.
  3. Restrictions:
  • You may not claim ownership, resell, sub-license, remix, rearrange or use music in an audio only manner (album, compilation or music only video).
  • You may not use the music for projects involving violence, hatred, pornography, politics, alcohol or drugs.
  • Permitted Uses:
    You may use the music as background in:
  • Digital Platforms: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, live streams etc.
  • Creative Projects: Podcasts, audio books, films, commercials, games.
  • Wellness: Yoga, meditations, hypnosis, ASMR, affirmations.
  • Business & Non-Profit: Presentations, blogs, ads, websites.
  • Events & Personal Use: Weddings, broadcast and personal projects.
  • You can fade, cut, or loop (repeat sections), but you can’t remix or edit the original composition. As for the music used in distributed products, it must have at least one third of the music that contains narration (e.g., voice-overs). Such projects may be distributed without limit.
  • Special Uses:
  • For software applications, the music used for software applications must contain voice over, or be a part of app features (i.e., sound effects, guided content) and users will not be able to control the music itself (i.e., play, pause, skip).
  • For public broadcasting, one physical or digital venue is available for public broadcasting; extra venues require extra licensing.
  • Personalized recordings (e.g., meditations) you can sell or distribute, for commercial or charitable purposes, personalized recordings.
  • You can monetize original works which use our music in the background, but not as the foreground (e.g. music only videos or albums).
  • Non-Permitted Uses:
  • The music cannot be sold as a music only product, physical or redistributed to streaming platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music).
  • It can't be used for music only videos or embedded into apps or media players for stand alone streaming.
  • You may not remix the music, you may not add vocals, instruments, or subliminal messages.
  • Refund Policy:
    We are a download only company, which means: All sales are final to prevent fraud since our music is available for immediate download after purchase. If there are any problems with your download we would love to hear from you so we can get this sorted for you.
